Don't find out you can't
have a sale in the house you just sold! Please call Alpha before
you list your home or sign a contract on your home to sell it in order to make
sure we can schedule a sale before the closing date. We stay very busy and
sometimes are booked for up to two months!
Christie and I wanted to
tell you that the Florence estate sale was the best
we ever attended in more than 20 years of going to
auctions and estate sales. We attended Thursday night.
When the fellow at the door said he would let 50 people
in at a time we thought it might be a hassle to work our
way around and get checked out efficiently. We were
happy to see you had a competent and attentive staff to
help answer questions, tote stuff to the garage and
load vehicles. Our only regret was running out of room
in our truck and money in our checking account!

auction on the Internet and take the chance on giving them away as people
want to see and touch many items to make sure they are in good condition and
will not bid on them if they can't. We present the best scenario for

legal guardians, power of attorneys & legal heirs. Every estate

all of the items, a
three
day on premise sale is held to liquidate the estate. Our fair pricing
(supported by current market values) and
discounting structure guarantees you the highest dollar value for all of your items.
Pricing is critical in the success of any sale and our experience in the
field of liquidation is invaluable in finding the "right" price
for your items to reasonably sell for. Our loyal clients know us for
our service and quality client care.

- If warranted for certain
properties, we have our popular "Early Bird Sale" the Thursday
night before we open our regular sales on Friday!
Presentation can be the core of a
successful sale. We have been known to completely rearrange a home to
display and merchandise items for the most sales appeal.
Small
valuable items are placed in showcases and shown one at a time by our
attentive staff. We also offer our customers a carefully thought out
holding area and shopping baskets! CLICK

Our fee is collected only after the liquidation of the estate.
There are no up front cost to you and your check is in hand 14 working days after the close of the
sale. We can also relocate select items to sell them if after the
family has made their selection and there is not enough left to have an on
premise estate sale.
No worry with "what to do with" the higher end items
that didn't find a ready buyer. Rather than "give" them away, the
possibility is always there to consign them to
Lincoln Center Antiques.
Left over odds and ends are donated to your favorite charity. We even vacuum
the house and do a light cleaning before we turn the key over to the owner!
In order to obtain the highest revenue for our clients, some
select items may be offered through Internet connections or to regional, and in some
cases, international auction houses.
We will consider any job offered. We are professionals all
the way. Our training, experience and knowledge will tell you that!

As many of
you may not know, Gary has successfully passed the rigid testing by the State of
Alabama and received his license to be a professional auctioneer! As part of
this process he had to apprentice for one full year working under the
sponsorship of a licensed working auctioneer and have billing on 5 complete
auctions. Spencer Glasgow agreed to act as Gary's sponsor and we thank
him. Spencer will still be working with us on all of our future auction
events, as time permits.
In mid April
of 2003 Alpha Estate & Auction Sales held their first
auction, selling the personal property located at Force Drive NW.
Alpha's long
range plans include offering approximately 2 premier estate auctions a year,
either on premise or relocating the personal property to our new heated and
cooled facility which
will be located at 1212 Meridian Street. This convenient in town location
will offer over 2,500 square feet of display as well as seating area and free off
street parking. Easy access to I565 and downtown Huntsville.
Plans include offering a one day preview of items to be sold and posting
photographs of many items on this web site. By inaugurating this new
service, Alpha will be able to offer clients more options on disposal of
complete or partial estates and downsizing plans. We are very excited
about being able to offer our past and future clients a more complete service to
dispose of unwanted quality used furnishings, antiques and collectibles.
However, our
main focus will still be holding on-premise estate sales we are currently noted
for.
